15 5/8” in body width – so it is in between an OM and a Small Jumbo, in flamed walnut back and sides and Redwood top, having ivoroid side binding, 5 ply black-white top purfling, 2-ply back purfling, an abalone rosette buttressed by black-white-black on each side and having ivoroid soundhole binding as well, a polished ebony pointy headplate featuring the “Flying B” Breedlove logo, chrome plated Gotoh mini-button tuners, 

The teardrop shape of the American OF Mandolin offers much more than you would expect from its simple design.  The O style creates a boomy, deep range that speaks with clarity and authority in any situation you find yourself in.  Composed of Sitka Spruce for the top and Figured Big Leaf Maple for the back and sides, the OF has tone bar bracing which further complements the bold projection.  Breedlove mandolins are said to be easy to play with a radiused fingerboard and oversize frets that allow for extreme comfort.  The finish on this OF is a sumptuous satin, both beautiful to the eyes and to the hand.

This guitar is in fine condition showing only small signs of having been played – a few indications of body contact, a few minor scratches and scuffs on the top, back and sides, nothing horrible, and virtually no sign of use on the back of the neck. This model is made to perfection by some of the best 12-string guitar builders extant.

This truly magnificent and outstanding sounding guitar is made from glorious striped ebony on the back and sides, has bloodwood bindings on top, back and fingerboard; the fingerboard is inlaid with the Art Deco dotmarker pattern. It has what appears to be a high quality Sitka spruce top, that has (unlike ourselves) turned a deep orange and an abalone inlaid soundhole rosette.

This guitar shows a few dings here and there, an inexplicable series of dots under the finish at the center bottom of the back, perhaps from contact with a strap or some other device; some nicks and indents (bite marks?) on the headplate.

This is a fairly fancy variation based on a theme of the snakehead type A-style mandolin that’s dressed up, made up, and ready for professional use. The Alpine has an abalone “flying B”-for-Breedlove peghead logo, a colorful abalone flower inlaid there under in a black overlay bordered in crème ivoroid with a black underlay.
