Oh sure, you can point to the Adirondack spruce top – go ahead – point!

 Dynamically responsive, this Orchestra Model guitar has a bona fide ebony fingerboard.  It purports extended volume range said to be ideal for ensemble playing, body binding is  herringbone, neck woods are mahogany; fingerboard is ebony, Zee nut, she is 1 ¾”, La Scale Length would be  25”; frets, there are 20 and they’re nickel–silver, inlays are of the  snowflake persuasion.  The Eastman List is $1500.

We have to say, from the get-go, that we LOVE this Eastman Strings (new) T386 thinline electric that was made from laminated maple for the top back & sides, having dual mounted humbuckers.  It is a 16" double cutaway with full block and also with hard shell case.  It is also the biggest bargain in a thinline that we are aware of.     Here’s how the maker describes it:   a full-size 16″ thinline made with a laminate maple top, laminate maple back and sides; this is versatile, responsive, with tons of tone and attitude!

Eastman has done it again – they have come out with another incredible sounding guitar for under a thousand dollars.  Oh sure, you can point to the Adirondack spruce top – go ahead – point!   And yes, in our opinion all guitars should be provisioned  with Adirondack tops when they are born since this gloriously resonant wood makes the type of top that the C F Martin Guitar Company used during their Golden Period of 1934 to 1944 (on their spruce top guitars).
