    This is a very fine sounding tenor banjo –it has a head diameter of 10 15/16” and a calf skin banjo head.   This banjo can be played either with the Vega wooden resonator affixed to have a meatier low-end or as an open back for a more balanced sound.   The close fitting pie sectioned resonator is slightly oversized, and fits in its newer hard shell case snug with the addition of a slim pillow under the resonator.

    The C F Martin 0-18T is one of the most popular and fine sounding acoustic flattop tenors known.  They are especially well known to Kingston Trio fans since Nick Reynolds used one in that group.  This Concert Size tenor guitar has a Sitka spruce top and mahogany sides and back, a Brazilian rosewood headplate, fingerboard and bridge.   It is a simply appointed guitar with a 13 ½" body width and a 23" scale.

    This handsome instrument shows light pick wear on the face on the treble side with light crazing on the bass side (and below the bridge).   If you really need to know, it overall shows very light signs of playing wear – which includes a small amount of dings and nicks.   The diminutive yet welcome tiple is an instrument we just don’t see stop by our exotic digs very often. And we loves them, we does.

Fine-grain Sitka spruce top, tropical mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck. Classic (i.e., no inlays) black ebony fingerboard. Marc makes all his own bindings and purflings, and this instrument is bound in Brazilian Rosewood. Bridge is Brazilian Rosewood with compensated bone saddle and ebony bridge pins with pearl dots. Tortoise pickguard installed.
