Campellone (used, 2012) EP Series Archtop

Tag No 32-4063 Used

#4321212, Amber Sunburst Finish, in excellent condition, 1 ¾” nut, built-in Gibson ’57 Classic Reissue humbucker and deluxe Cedar Creek hard shell case.

A 15" guitar designed for gigging - features a solid carved top and a laminated back, a short scale neck and a floating pickup - basically a guitar which has the same response characteristics as a full size archtop, but a more compact and affordable package. You're probably aware that a few other builders/manufacturers have similar offerings, though most of those have all-laminated construction. Mark’s is somewhat unique because of the its solid carved top. This new model is a great choice for the working musician.

The EP Series is designed to offer tonal and response characteristics similar to a full-size archtop guitar when amplified, but in a more compact, moderately priced package. Standard features include a comfortable single-bound 15" Florentine cutaway body with 2.25" rim, solid carved spruce top, laminated maple back and rims and 24.5" fingerboard scale. Its single-bound 22 fret maple neck joins the body at the 15th fret. It is available (to be ordered) with either a 1 11/16" or 1 3/4" nut width, with ebony or rosewood parts, with a floating pickup and with nickel-plated hardware.   Ours has the 1 ¾” nut width.    This version shown is quite reasonably priced:
