Comments of the head of the Ramirez Company - regarding the model 125 Anos spruce Classical acoustic guitar:

Based on the template of the "E" line designed by Jose III, Amalia Ramirez has created the Ramirez 125 Anos Spruce as a limited edition model. It was built for five years (2007-2012), and commemorates the 125th anniversary of the Ramirez guitar making dynasty. The "Rose" mosaic rosette is based off of Jose Ramirez III's rose design dating back to the 1960's. For years, his designs mysteriously disappeared but were rediscovered 40 years later. This rose rosette represents all the designs that had been forgotten over the 125 years of the Jose Ramirez legacy.

About the  guitars:  Each guitar  tells a story. In this instance it  commemorates a milestone in Ramirez Guitars' rich history. Built in the Ramirez "Studio" factory - which it is our understanding is offsite from the main facility, it nevertheless conforms to a high level of quality in a "student" guitar for the talented amateur.

The owner writes:  It's in excellent condition. It's a studio model for sure, but it projects well. No issues with it. I also bought a Hiscox case for it, so it's well protected. This model was made for just five years.

The guitar is in quite lovely and fresh condition with some small amount of light cloudiness on the back bass edge of the body and at the heel of the neck, as well as at the seam where the neck joins the body.  The owner states that it was like that when he got it.   Our workshop has performed our de rigueur set up and installed a set of new D’Addario EJ45C normal tension Composite strings.
