Schoenberg (used, 2006) Soloist Non-cutaway Acoustic Adirondack top

Tag No 32-4237 Used

#1370506, made by Bruce Sexauer, with a 1-3/4” nut, in “excellent” condition, with a blue exterior Calton hard shell case.

This is a Soloist – which is a flattop, essentially an OM-sized guitar. Its top is made from the finest Adirondack, its back from Madagascar Rosewood. It has a wooden rosette, wood body binding; it has black-white-black purfling and trim with a black-white-black backstrip and multicolor herringbone. Its headstock shape is squared with a volute carved on the back. The fretboard is 14 frets to the body and made from black ebony; its nut width is 1 ¾.” The fingerboard is inlaid with diamonds. The fingerboard is bound with wood binding. This guitar has a tortoise shell pickguard, an ebony bridge; its label is signed by Bruce Sexauer.  Its tuners and hardware are nickel-plated tuners being Waverly with metal buttons.

This guitar is unusually loud for a small body guitar even when played with a light touch. More important than the volume however, is the incredible tone in this guitar.
