This extremely handsome all gloss finish body guitar features gold hardware including the large metal body sealed-back tuners, a matte finish rosewood truss rod cover against the matte finish headstock overlay, and the refracting Taylor headstock logo in colorful mother of pearl. The rosewood bound ebony fret board is inlaid with 8 mother of pearl white dots in 7 fret positions.
There is a ding on the back of the neck behind the 2nd fret, a scuff at the back edge on the tip end of the headstock, treble side, very light belt buckle marks on the back, dings on the front of the headstock, small pick marks around the soundhole, and there may be other minor signs of use as well such as small indentations in the rosewood body binding here and there. The rosewood bound ebony fret board is inlaid with 8 mother of pearl white dots in 7 fret positions.
Once again, don't let the overstatement of conditon dismay you - this is in "normal" condition for a guitar that's 8 years old - showing only small signs of having been played. It is beautiful to look at, delightful to play, wonderful to hear. It actually has a Koa wood soundhole rosette - which I don't recall seeing on a 714 but maybe that's what they did at this time. We like it a great deal.
