Taylor (used, 2012) Baritone 8-String Guitar

Tag No 32-4222 Used

#1108242010, in “excellent plus” condition, with the brown original Taylor hard shell case.

A truly unique voice, the 8-string baritone GS complements the baritone’s lower tonal range by pairing two octave strings with the third and fourth strings, adding a touch of upper-octave brightness without too much 12-string jangle.

A Baritone guitar is tuned down to B-to-B, providing the adventurous player the rumble and the roar that is so often missing from the acoustic experience. It opens up new vistas in terms of possibilities for songwriting, instrumental flights of fancy, and for accompanying other instruments. It provides you more fun than you ever thought possible.

The result is a guitar with incredible tonal range, perfect for walking bass lines and rich melodies. Its features include East Indian rosewood back and sides, a Sitka spruce top, ebony bridge, bone nut and saddle, gold-plated Taylor tuning machines. The scale length is 27", the nut width is 1 ¾”, it has a Venetian (soft) cutaway, plus the always welcome Taylor Expression System® electronics. Its body width is 16 ¼ inches, body depth is 4 5/8”, body length 20”, Overall Length - 41” With its doubled octave strings it produces a sound as big as the sky in Bozeman, and as round as a well-fed hound.
