Collings (used, 1998) D1AV Acoustic Guitar Now on Sale!

    Tag No 32-3930 Used
#3971, in very good plus condition with original hard shell case.

The square-shouldered 14-fret dreadnought is the most popular steel-string acoustic guitar body shape in the world. While Collings is certainly not the only company to build them, they bring a new tonal clarity to the depth and warmth usually associated with such a large, deep-bodied guitar. Although its bass response makes the dreadnought ideal for vocal accompaniment, Collings versions are also often employed by bluegrass flatpickers who must compete with inherently louder instruments such as banjos and fiddles.  OUR PRICE WAS $3450 BUT NOW: *NOW ON HOLD*

  2. Collings (new) D-2H Acoustic Guitar

    Collings (new) D-2H Acoustic Guitar

    Tag No 32-3846 New
#22776, with deluxe hard shell case.

This is the Collings interpretation of the prewar powerhouse dreadnought, being comprised of East Indian rosewood back and sides with a Sitka spruce top and mahogany neck, advanced X, forward shifted bracing, having a squared (very squared) headstock shape, the “Collings” logo in script multi-colored pearl inlay in its exotic striped ebony headplate.  It is a guitar to give up, for the rest of the year, those rich 5-course lunches. Bursting with flavor and nuance, it is the culmination of the waking dream.
